Gauge Cluster Shift Light

Post by ProspeedCTR »

I don't have nitrous on my K20A2. So I was wondering if there is a way to make the nitrous controller on the K-Pro illuminate a shift light on my gauge cluster by using a stock dash bulb and blank space on my cluster? It was done on another Hondata ECU and I have never heard anyone talk about it with the K-Pro. Instead of activating a nitrous solenoid it could turn on the shift light. Can this be done without affecting Timing or Fuel by turning all the Fuel & Ignition values to 0 with arming input Always On?

Yes you could probably do this and jsut set the arming input to always on. The output would then activate a relay to turn on th ebob. USe the relay to keep from burning out the output in the ecu.

I would like to do this also but use the output via a relay to run a larger external lamp.

What should the "conditions" and fuel ign be set to?

just set the condition on what RPM you want the light to turn on.

add fuel 0
retard ign 0

engine speed min 8500 max 8600
load 0-max bar
throttle 0-100
vss 0-158

all kpro does is that when all 4 conditions are met, it activates the output relay.
