Can someone from Hondata speak to this?

I own and enjoy my Hondata but tired of people on Facebook posting the same image from Derek Robinson who’s highly respected. Basically trashing Hondata and calling it complete shit and then most strangest thing is Ktuner people say it’s good for Type R… like wtf is this about?

So is the image attached true? Why have you not defended your product where it counts most these days? If not defending and clarifying your product makes this image true and also that you don’t care. Unlike Ktuner that’s there in all key platforms speaking to their product. I can’t defend savage Ktuner scrubs pile on that’s literally impacting your bottom line.

Please for the sake of your own product image and us customers rocking Hondata. Please clear the air! Because at this point Derek’s write-up is the 10th gen law of the land.

I'm going to remove the attachments because I do not want to be part of the spread of misinformation.

The facebooks groups are private; if myself or one of our staff posts corrections then we get banned and the posts deleted. Welcome to social media in the 2020s.

The information in the posts is incorrect. I corrected Derek Robinson on the civicx forum but he shrugged it off and never updated his original blog posts.

At a certain point we cannot spend 100% of our time making social media posts and correcting people when it is ultimately fruitless.

I completely agree and feel that it’s absolutely disrespectful. I almost considered showing your response to this group but it’s not worth it. I’ve been in heated debates and even kicked off the 10th Si group because I argued with very rude moderator over this topic. All I needed is to hear it from you. It’s sad they basically pin Hondata will blow your motor in FB groups. People ask a question mininions with only Ktuner on car start to trolling. I’m good and think now a days your product is literally winning this stupid battle. I think keep up with the nice preset tunes, updates, and modern mod parts presets and perfect. I’m running Hondata Flash Pro, Sirimoto flexfuel, and PRL CIA and love it. Thank you for your response.

The funniest thing is they say it’s for the Type R…. So how is it terribly engineered for a Si but amazing for Type R… I ask them…. like use commons sense. Hondata has been here since day 1 tuning… strange folk.

Yep, I simply posted response with screenshot and “Hondata response”, nothing else. Now I’m banned from both ‘10th Gen Civics’ and ‘10th Gen Civic Si Owners Club’ on FB. Good riddance to those groups.
