Hey ed i got a few question under vtec should i set "minimum speed vtec operation" to 0?
also i have a jdm k24a rbb3 should i leave "vtec oil pressure switch enabled" checked or unchecked?
And under closed loop should i leave it "disabled" or should i select "built in Wideband"? since i have a Ep3 ecu with stock O2 sensors

I finally got her running it was the alarming preventing spark we immediately took out the alarm and the car started immediately.
I have a question does the JDM k24 not measure oil pressure? I check on My Kpro App and it shows 0 even when driving.
The JDM K24 does not check vtec oil pressure. The reading from that sensor is binary. If you want an actual reading you would need to purchase an aftermarket oil pressure sensor.

Yes, if you have the OEM sensor you would select the "Built in wideband" selection

Leave the Vtec speed operation to the original value. The Vtec oil pressure switch should be unchecked as you do not have that sensor. select "Built in wideband"

I also have another issue Ed i notice my oil light comes on very dim and then turns off...is that part of turning off the oil pressure switch on kpro? i get no error codes on kpro and the light barely turns on its very dim and then turns off...earlier it flickered bright then quickly got dim and went off after a minute or 2...should i be worried?

Yes I would be worried. The oil light comes on when you have low oil pressure in the engine. Make sure to check you have sufficient oil and that there is nothing wrong with the connector.

You can also check the oil pressure. The engine might not be producing enough oil pressure because of another issue.

I had a friend of mine seize his d16y8 due to a dented oil pan. The oil pick up was touching the oil pan causing an oil restriction.

damn im going to have to take it out and get the dent out..if there is low oil pressure wouldn't it also show as error code?

The regular oil pressure sensor is not seen by the ECU and is just a warning light on the dash.

So we figure its a short, because we measured oil pressure and its all good. We unplugged the sensor which should trigger the light to go out and it still stays on dim. We did mess with the wiring under the dash so there might be a short under there. or the sensor itself is bad.

got tuned last night i only have an intake, i ended up using the stock ep3 headers and exhaust piping and still has Catalytic converter. Only made 190whp 168tq. My header and exhaust/cat is really restricting power. also my smaller Ep3 throttle body. Thanks for helping me out Ed much appreciated.
