HELP CAR WONT STOP PRIMING and HONDALOGGER WONT CONNECT

Post by Pit X »

Hey Guys,
Well anyways a week ago I bought a ECU P27 from Blown90Hatch ready for hondata with a chip. So I get the ecu and am all happy and waiting for my hondata s200B. So I finally get my s200B and plug that 4 wire plug into the ecu and change the eprom chip that came with my hondata package. I go and plug it in and the car just wont stop priming you just hear the gas going in the buzzing sound and it wont stop. I dont know whats wrong. I have the obd harness, the ecu, and hondata s200b. I Have already returned the ecu to blown90hatch cause it did the fuel pump thing before. He sent me a new one and it does the same thing. I tried putting on the chip that the hondata comes with and the fuel pump still prims forever but when i try to start the car it just dies cause theres no basemap on the one that came with the s200b. I put the one that came with the ecu from the guy that i bought it from and it runs for about 10 mins then shuts off... The fuel pump will not stop priming in the prim position which if i dont start the car right away it will be flooded and everything smells like gas.

ALSO i tried to connect my hondata to my comp via the serial cable and yes my hondata has data logging enabled. So I go and start the car then try to connect through hondalogger but it just sits there in connecting mode and wont connect. you can see the red light on the hondata lighting up.

Please help im just trying to get my car to run so I can go get it tuned. Is the fuel priming cause its hasnt been tuned or something I dont see hwo that would change anything but its really annoying cause this is a big pain in the ass.

Thnak you for your help in advance

If your car is flooding just by having the fuel pump running then you have a problem with the injectors or the wiring. Since the pump does not stop ppriming it sound like you have a wiring issue, or perhaps a bad relay somewhere.

Is the blue interface box flashing or solid?

the light is solid.. the car runs perfectly fine with the stock ecu and the car stops priming with the stock ecu. you can just hear the flue pump buzzing and wont stop when i have the harness ecu and hondata on.

Perhaps you have a bad adapter harness.

happened to me once. Bad ecu sometimes. SHorted injector outputs. filled all four cylinders with fuel. Engine couldn't even crank.
