No problem, we'll get it worked out. Be sure the FP isn't full too, if its memory is full it won't log either. I've done it before, which is why I mention it. Hahaafauser wrote: Wed Jun 09, 2021 7:09 am I didn't realize the log wasn't recording on my way in. Must not have held the button long enough. I'll try to do a drive on my way home this evening and soo how it goes. 1 knock did come up but I can't pin point exactly where it showed. Oops. I feel like a putz.

I made a habit of clearing it out often. Was able to make a drive out of it on the way home. 3rd WOT run is early on because I had a clear road so that worked out well. Here is the log.

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Is there any chance Rev.17 is still loaded into the ECU? I added the fuel to that midrange, and it's still lean. Not just lean, but the recommended adjustments on the WOT pull are literally the exact same from the last datalog to this one. Can you verify for me that Rev.18 is loaded to the ECU. Do you know how to verify which calibration was loaded last?
Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
I am pretty sure I loaded it. Hmmm Maybe it didn't go.
I am not too sure on how to check what is loaded into the ECU. I can see that 18 is on the flash pro though.

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Yeah I just thought it was weird that I added fuel there and it didn't richen up. So I started to troubleshoot some stuff to see the possible culprit. My initial thought was you posted the datalog from Rev17, but you said you delete them so I looked some more, and they are different datalogs. Then noticed that both WOT pulls have the exact same fuel demands in that lean area. I mean exactly exactly, haha. I compared files and the only changes to the tune were high cam fuel, which shows I changed those areas. Which I verified we did add fuel there in rev18 so it should have been more inline. In the photo below, Rev17 datalog on the left and Rev18 on the right, notice the fuel values are exactly the same. That's why I am pretty sure 18 didn't get loaded, which is no big deal, just want to make sure we're on the right path is all. To check for which calibation is loaded, connect the FP to your laptop. Then next to the tab where you click datalog to find the new one to open it, there is a tab that says calibration. With the FP connected to the laptop, it will tell you the last file uploaded to the ECU there.afauser wrote: Thu Jun 10, 2021 8:27 am I am pretty sure I loaded it. Hmmm Maybe it didn't go.

Thank you. Yes I see what you are saying. That is strange. I will verify what revision is loaded and update you. Hope it was just something on my end. Will not be to get that done until later today.

Yeah I mean my goal is to get your car consistent over multiple days, but this is impressive if it is the correct calibration. But then I would begin to wonder why it's still lean then after adding fuel there you know. We'll see what you come up with and go from there.afauser wrote: Thu Jun 10, 2021 9:38 am Thank you. Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Maybe I misread what you said earlier about what file was loaded or just thought it was something else. Anyway. So under the calibration tab it is revision 18. I'll load it up again and do another drive. I may not be able to get it done tonight though.

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Interesting, okay. Yeah I just double checked the differences between the two files and I did add fuel there. We'll see how the next datalog looks and go from there.
Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
I did a short drive this morning. Something weird happened with the log though. It looks like I idled the car for a long time right in the middle, which I didn't do. I did turn on my laptop though so maybe that is why. Let me know if it is good enough for you or if I have to do another one. Thank you

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Yeah that is strange in the datalog, it's almost like you shut the car off, but you say you didn't. The datalog showed even more lean areas on this one, I'm going to start looking around to see if I can find anything to be addressed. We haven't made any fuel adjustments since Rev14 or something, now it is trending to lean for no reason. Take this one for a drive and we'll see how it looks.

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Took 19 for a drive but broke it up into 2. Had to make a stop. The first bit was some stop and go traffic. If these are not good enough let me know and I can go for a single log drive.
I also checked the test pipe/exhaust for any leaks and there were not any. Just thought maybe I should double check everything to be on the safe side. Just seems like after I put in the test pipe it started going towards the lean side. Thank you

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Good idea to check everything. Yeah it's more inline now, so strange. I made a few fuel changes and we had one knock on fourth. So I made some adjustments for that. Here is the next one. We'll see how it looks now that things seem to be on track again.

Re: 2008 Si Sedan map suggestions please and thank you
Just wasn't my day to get a log done. Washed the engine bay today. CEL and couldn't rev passed 4k rpm. Water got into the VTEC oil pressure switch. Blew it out. Sprayed down the car. Drove it. Water got in there again! n Stupid on my part for not checking the connector again before I drove it. I need to get some dielectric grease for the connector on Monday.

That sucks man, I'm sorry. That is why even as an avid detailing enthusiast I refuse to spray down my engine, haha. Hopefully you get it back on track with no issues. Keep me in the loop.
