PLX setup
PLX setup
This topic has probably been beaten to death but I need help. For some reason I cannot get the hondata to read/display the same numbers as my gauge. I believe I have tried just about every combination besides cutting or removing some resistors, as far as wiring it up. Can someone please help? Maybe some pictures of successful setups and directions. BTW I have the plx grounded to the thermostat housing. If this helps, I have a 1994 Honda Civic Ex w/b18c1.
Re: PLX setup
I've got a 94 Civic EX with a turbo D16Z6 and am using a PLX wideband.
My sensor is grounded at the thermostat housing.
Wideband output wire is going to the ELD input on the ECU (D10). I have resistors R136 and R138 removed from the ECU.
I'm not using the narrowband output wire.
For powering the wideband, I have a fuse sub-panel that powers on with switched 12V. This panel has individual circuits for the wideband, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, and the boost control solenoid.
I'm running open loop.
My wideband gauge was still off a little from the reading in SManager, so I put a 0.1V offset in SManager and they read the same now.
Hope that helps.
