i have a big hunch that it may have something to do with my laptop...but anyway... when id datalog, it wont last longer than 30 seconds before freezing... im scared it might cause something wrong with my ECU... everything else works besides recording a datalog.
oh BTW...it only freezes when im driving... it doesnt freeze while at idle...only when i give it gas...
They have told me that it was my old laptop and the version of kpro that was a fresh update not being compatible

You need to try your ECU in a different vehicle and see if the problem follows the ECU or if it is only on your vehicle.
