P72 JDM H22A 90 Honda Accord

Post by Two1Accord »

I'm just checking the optimal setup for my vehicle. I'll be dropping in an OBDI H22A soon and as far as I know the P72 would be the best chip for me. It should retain all options, correct? And also how will this chip perform with this engine before the Hondata tuning is performed? I know it will not be exactly right but will it mess up the engine in any way? Thanks.

I have the h22a in my 91 coupe...easiest swap there is...uses all Accord axles including intermediate shaft on back of motor. Also use all Accord engine mounts..not a bad idea to buy new ones though !! Dog bone stabilizer in front usually bad...and rear tower a big plus due to extra torque.... Im using the h22 ecu with the f22 harness...all you need to due is extend a few wires for some of the sensors...egr valve, cooling fan switch,etc.. and finish up with running new wires from ecu to vtec solenoid
very easy!! have fun!! oh and if you dont know which vacuum lines go where try looking in the haynes/chilton books they show what they are then find them on h22....just started checking into this Hondata so cant help there

Thanks man. Hopefully I'll get the motor soon and have it in before too long. Planning on taking a weekend to do the swap, I think it should be enough time if I start prepared.
