Bad s300 board/battery

Post by redline32 »

Ok I search the forum and couldn't find exactly what I need to know. It appears to be a dead s300 battery from what I can tell. It will not let me datalog or show me the cel. When I look at the sensors they are not realtime and the car is running in limp mode no matter the map I try to upload. I happen to have 2 cars still running s300 so I swapped out ecu and swapped hondata boards to find out my board wont work in either ecu but both ecu work with my other unit.

The weird thing is my original s300 is older by years and still works. Anyway I am assuming there is no fix for this I can do, so do I need to buy new unit? Will the new unit work with same socket? Any help proceeding is helpful, having 1 ecu working for 2 cars is troublesome.

Also even tho the older s300 is still working should I update/upgrade it as well?

Thanks in advance

Serial number is #12,991

Details on upgrading can be found at: https://www.hondata.com/downloads/s300v ... e_form.pdf

You can upgrade them both. I would recommend upgrading the working one before it fails as it will be $100 cheaper.
