Turbo D idles at 1700rpm

Hi guys,

Im running a D14Z2 motor and for some reason the car is idling at 1700(very smoothly) even though I have set the minimum idle at 850.

I am still a noob when it comes to the S300 software, and I am sure it is just a simple mistake.

I also did notice that the car was running quite rich at idle (11.2 AFR) Hope this helps.

With the idle controller unplugged, what does it idle at?

Edit: I tried it out but didnt affect it really. It just idled but less controlled.

Could it be the overly rich mixture during idle? 11.7?
Or maybe timing is advanced?

With the idle controller unplugged you will have to manually adjust the idle at the throttle body so it is about 500 RPM, then plug the idle controller back in.
