KPro V3 no output on Pin E18

Post by Bleach261 »

I am working on getting ac running on my k swapped s2000. I moved wire A27 from the body harness (ACS) on my AP1 s2000,and tapped it onto B9. When I press the ac button, it grounds the input to B9, I can see it idle up and the fans will come on but the compressor clutch won't engage. I pinned a wire on E18 on the RSX ecu and I am not getting an output with either the Ac ON or OFF. The wire E18 I thought was supposed to go directly to the compressor or is it supposed to go somewhere else?

What is the part number of your ECU?

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

I am not sure what the part number is you are looking for. It is a Kpro V3. With an ECU Type: PRB - US RSX Type S
Main Firmware Version: 3.01
Software Version: 4.4.2.0

The serial number is: 14310

I can't seem to upload an image. I screenshot the information screen on the Ecu. I can email it to you.

I would recommend that you try the ECU on a known working vehicle first, since it was not designed to work in the application you are trying to use it.

I was mistaken. Pin E18 doesn't output anything. It grounds a curcuit to open the ac compressor clutch relay. E18 didn't go to the compressor. What it is supposed to do on a K swapped s2000 is it goes to A17 on the body harness. Which will ground the relay, and send power to the body harness. You then extend that wire to the compressor and it now works as I expected.
