I am having issues with my vss signal to the kpro. It is not reading and is throwing a CEL. Speedo in the cluster is working properly (though a little off of speed). I have tried both Normal and Countershaft speed sensor options in Kmanager. I believe it should be the normal speed sensor setting, but am having trouble finding the right information. Here is the setup:
96 Civic DX
K24a2 motor
RSX base 5 speed harness
PND 5 speed Kpro V4 using 4.4.3 Kmanager
Element trans (I believe from 03-10 range) for AWD setup - should be same as CRV
I have also updated the gear ratio's as there is not a setting for the CRV/Element Trans.
So does anyone know what is needed here? Do I need a frequency conversion for the sensor? Since it seems to be off of the final drive, this didn't seem likely, but maybe it is a different frequency than the standard RSX trans. Not sure what is going on since the speedo is working but Kpro is not.
Thanks for any help that can be provided.

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?
What is the ECU part number on the white plug inside the ECU?

You do not have a manual ECU. It is an automatic and does not have a VSS input. More details can be found at: https://www.hondata.com/tech-alternativ ... ngine-swap

Guess that is what happens when you buy one “on sale” and am not able to specify the ECU used. However this procedure looks pretty straight forward. I will get on this soon.
