Does the FK8 have boost creep issues in low temps and running uncatted DP?
Does the FK8 have boost creep issues in low temps and running uncatted DP?
If you run an uncatted exhaust, is there a potential for boost creep on the FK8 platform? Based on the FK8 Hondata tuning tech guide, it says to monitor WG actual to ensure it doesn't sit at 0mm. Is that when the wastegate is fully closed? Since boost creep is a mechanical issue, I'm guessing the safety measures in the ECU wouldn't be able to prevent it?

You don't get boost creep with these internal wastegate turbos. Looking at the WG position under boost is to check you don't close the wastegate, which will over speed the turbo.
