ABS sensors not logging properly
ABS sensors not logging properly
I have a 2020 FK8. Trying to log the ABS LF, RF, LR, RR sensors doesn't seem to work. The speed sensors just stay static. See attached second gear pull log. This log was performed by pressing the 'datalog' button on the FlashPro.

Re: ABS sensors not logging properly
That's normal for the 2020 due to the sensing isolating the ABS/VSA from the diagnostic port.

Got it. Would it be safe to assume the 2020 won’t properly log the ABS sensors in future Flashpro updates?Hondata wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:56 am That's normal for the 2020 due to the sensing isolating the ABS/VSA from the diagnostic port.
Is there an alternative to log traction control data without using the ABS sensors?
Re: ABS sensors not logging properly
Oh that’s a bummer then. Didn’t know traction would completely not work. I thought it was just a logging issue.
Guess 2020 owners will just have to use some super sticky tires.

Re: ABS sensors not logging properly
Traction control works on the 2020. The ECU can read the ABS sensors; it just is the OBDII port and hence FlashPro is blocked from reading the sensors.
If you look at your datalog from the first post you can see the wheel speed slip % and the TC retard.

Re: ABS sensors not logging properly
Sorry, I was under the impression that it did not work at all.
Re: ABS sensors not logging properly
That’s great news! Thanks for clarifying.
