You must have internet access to register and must first register before you can upload to it. You may need to scroll down to see the update/register button. When you plug it in, do not plug into the vehicle. Only plug into the USB on the laptop.

My laptops are connected to the internet, that’s how I downloaded the software. I select “flash pro” then “registered owner” but that part is greyed out and won’t let you fill in your details. If I d connect via USB it crashes the software and prompts a “Not responding” message on the program window?

You cannot fill in the fields directly, you must click on the update /register button.

Okay can you point me in the direction of the register button as all I can see is “register owners” which is in the sub folder “flash pro”?

That’s what I’m trying to fill in so I connect the module but the whole register owner window is greyed out and won’t let me enter my details?

I’ve also dug out an old laptop today with windows 7 on it, installed, checked drivers are installed correctly but still the “register button” is greyed out and inaccessible so I can’t fill in my details. So that’s three laptops, two different connections, removing all firewall, anti virus etc and still I’ve got nothing... How about remote access or manually changing registration on your end?

Hi, I believe this handset was purchased from myself. The handset was unlocked from old vehicle and unregistered as can been in attached image.

The version I was using was 3.5.8.0 and firmware for handset updated for this version. Looking at Ward84s screen image it seems the flash pro isn't detected by the software hence the registration buttons are all greyed out? This seems like a driver issue possibly detecting the handset when it's plugged in? Do you have a link to 3.5.8.0 he could try to use that version? As you can see bottom left driver and flashpro have ticks so you can see it's connected fine to my PC to allow me to unregister and unlock the device before selling it.

If you plug in only the USB to the computer, what do the lights on the FlashPro do?

What shows up in the lower left hand corner of the software when you plug in the USB?

It’s shows green power light and red USB lift that’s with the module plugged in with the software closed. If I plug the module in whilst the software is open it says “the flash pro firmware will be upgraded” with click “okay” then if I select any option the software says it’s not responding (the power light on the module is flashing green) I can either Close the program or wait for the program to respond?
