RSX Shutting Off while Widebands Heats up

Post by rjusvibez »

I have my AEM 30-3000 Xseries Wideband Wired to my KPRO V4 with white wire connected to Analogue 1 and brown wire to ground bolt under the steering wheel I had the engine running with closed loop and got the ECU and Gauge to read identical till it developed an issue where if I start the car cold or hot the engine will shut off continuously looking at it from kmanager starting the engine the wideband heats the sensor and in kpro it reads 9.80 in red and not moving and the enginie dies after 10-15 seconds and I have noticed as long as the sensor is being heated kpro reads nothing. So as an experiment we disabled open loop and the problem goes away but the kpro and the gauge are reading differently. I dont know what else to do short of putting back my primary o2 for the kpro and have the wideband sensor separate just for the gauge.

Thank in advance Spunkter

Two obvious problems to fix.
1. The TPS is not adjusted, so on overrun the injectors stay on, which is compounding problem #2 by making the fuel trim very large.
2. The fuel table tuning is horrible. Between different cam angle tables there are 50% differences.
Also I would make sure the injector dead times are correct before doing any tuning.
