I drive from 3200 feet elevation to Sea level every day to work and I can get tune pretty good where I live By doing data logs and I got it to wear I have had zero to no knocks but I feel like when I get down to Sea level I feel like my car runs richer which isn’t that bad but when I did datalogs and adjusted fuel according to my data logs I get from driving sea level I end up running lean close to where I live at over 3200 feet... so you guys recommend replacing my map sensor to aftermarket map sensor or what can I do to help with this issue because I’m not exactly sure what to do I’ve had a couple lean cuts because of it. And it feels like I’m chasing my tail trying to damn tune it I’ve been on my laptop for weeks :(.
So far I got it doing about 13.2/13.5 but sometimes 14 even at wide open throttle around my area but about 12.5-13 at sea level now so it’s pretty close but I just had some knocking at sea level at lower rpms and it’s weird because I’m adjusting some of the same ignition tables that I was adjusting at 3200 elevation To reduce knocking...
By the way my setup is a 2004 civic hatchback si with jdm tsx k24 kpro version 4. I also had one more question I have racing motor mounts and stage 1 excedy clutch can that affect me getting more knocks? Btw I didn’t mean to make such a long post hope you have a good day.
Altitude with stock map?
Re: Altitude with stock map?
Do you have datalogs you can post from each climate, that show richness on one and lean on the other. As well as knock. Those would help determine a few things. Also, if you can post your calibration file that would help as well. I would be interested in seeing your fuel tables, the fact that it's lean at elevation and rich at sea level is a little weird if my mind serves me correctly.
Anyways, post some datalogs of the issue and your calibration file, then hopefully one of us can help you out.

Ok your right it’s actually lean at sea level because I been trying to tune it locally. Yesterday I drove over 100 miles my mpgs is crappy too I’m getting like 22-26. On the way home it lean cut twice around sea level but when I was close to 3000 elevation it was driving better af

Which calibration are you driving on right now? Can you post the calibration?
Do you have datalogs from both elevations?
