2015 Civic Si Basemaps
Re: 2015 Civic Si Basemaps
Very interesting that it was actually lean on that file, but that's okay, we have to start somewhere. Your car is bone stock? Seems to flow pretty good for stock.
There was no knock on that one either which is great. I made a bunch of fueling changes for this next one so we'll see how it looks. Vtec looks like it kicked in around 4730, so I lowered it down a little to get it to engage where we want it.
Take this one for a spin and we'll see how it looks. Same type of datalog, you can have a little more fun on this drive, but get at least one or two WOT pulls in third gear from 2000-7600 still.

Looks pretty good overall, still a bit lean, but I was sort of creeping up on it so that makes sense.
Yeah the knock came on a third gear pull right in the area the 9th gen is prone to knock due to the intake manifold style. So no big deal, I massaged the ignition a bit right there so it should be good to go. It only did it on one WOT pull, but a degree or two of timing shouldn't be a big difference in power but it removes the knock. So in my opinion it's best just to touch it up right there and remove the chances.
So here is the next one for you. I made some more fuel changes, and I added some ignition in a couple places around vtec to see if it might pick up a little bit for you. But I think we're on the right track. The fueling should be pretty good on this one, but it might still take a couple more to get it dialed.
Glad you're happy man. That's why I always tell people to get a Flashpro as soon as you can, there is plenty to be had in stock form even.

Here is the 4th data-log the weather was kinda shitty today and traffic was crazy I tried my best to get a couple of WOT pulls. there was no knock this time which is a plus! I did try to get on it a little more on some starts as well. let me know what you think.
And like you said I also think we are on the right track here.

It looks really good! Looks like it picked up pretty good on the ignition changes, so that is good. I still needed to make a few fueling changes, I had too much fuel in it just before vtec so I pulled some out there. Made a few WOT changes as well. This one should be really close.
For this next datalog, make your normal third gear pulls, but try to make one or two fourth gear pulls from 2000-6000rpms. Stopping at 6000rpms should keep you below triple digit speeds, I don't want you to run it out to redline and get in serious legal trouble. I just want to make sure it doesn't knock down low in fourth gear either. So like 2000-6000 ish range, whatever you feel comfortable and safe at in fourth. Also feel free to drive it however you want, if you want to get a little more spirited in the driving go ahead, it's plenty safe for you to have a good time and we'll see how it all looks.

Re: 2015 Civic Si Basemaps
okay here the 5th log. i tried to do 3 WOT in fourth on the last one I did I got 1 knock count on count 3. Wasn't able to get to 6000 on the last one and had to let off do to another motorist on the road not knowing how to drive. that is also when I noticed the knock. i am at the store now on my way home i will do another log and do a couple more pulls in forth and upload that as well.

Sounds good. Looked over that one and it's right where the 9th gens are most sensitive. Which is fine, I didn't add any there. We'll see how the other datalogs look when you post them. This one looks pretty good!

Re: 2015 Civic Si Basemaps
Okay good. The knock was in the same exact place under the same circumstances. So I pulled some ignition there. I also made some fuel changes. The fueling is good part throttle and WOT, the WOT fueling is taking some minor tweaks to get it perfect. Hopefully I'll get you done soon, sorry to have you keep making so many datalogs, it's close, I'm just OCD about a lot of things.
Here is the next one. Same thing, try a couple 4th gear pulls like you have been for the knock, and a couple third gear pull run out to 7600.
