Datalog - car won't start, can I still make a datalog?
Engine is a 2009 k20z3, intake, ktuned fuel rail and fpr, it's open header right now with o2 installed.
Kpro came from you guys back in 2012. Used back then and then went into my closet for 8 years well protected from elements.
I got the car running back to 2012 and started and idled fine but that was about it. Life happened and the car sat in my garage until now and I have gone through and got her running again. I replaced the battery and all ground wires to brand new ones from hybrid racing. The car was starting and running fine (several times) other than a code from no secondary 02 sensor. I went into kpro about 4 days later and turned that sensor off and tried to restart and cranks strong but won't start. I have spark and fuel, no check engine lights, and I have power to injectors but when I pull them out no spray at all. It was starting no problem previously several times before I just turned secondary 02 off. I reverted back to my original base map with the secondary o2 on as I had saved it and same issue. I have tried the provided k20a2 and k20z1 basemaps and same issue. Then I went back to my saved one and still same issue. The only thing I did was turn off secondary 02 sensor in kpro, it was starting and running before. Any suggestions? I have spend over 10 hours on your forum, hindatech, k20a and I haven't got anywhere other than a possible map sensor failure? Thank you

Also I know about the immobilizer and the other settings in misc and the multiplexer. I made sure those were correctly checked on every basemap I tried and my previously used saved one

The only reason I didn't is because I didn't want to risk messing up my working car lol. I will do that and try again. It's so weird why that would randomly happen when it's been working great up until that point. Thanks for the reply I will update my software reload a base and try again.

I updated my software and tried pretty much the same 3 maps and other than some extremely intermittent spray from injector #3 still same issue.

Another thing I have no ability to test it in another car. I have posted on the forums for months looking for someone in San Diego just to have a fellow K swap friend but no luck. If you have any suggestions to try first I would appreciate it but I would send it to you guys to test if possible. I am so careful with this computer because I am so paranoid not to fry it but I don't see why injectors would randomly stop working. Thanks again.

Go to the online menu and then tools, then erase the ECU, When that is done, close the program, reopen the software and go to New calibration and open a new base calibration (disable immobilizer if this is not the original ECU from the vehicle) and upload to the ECU and see if that resolves the issue.

Unfortunately that did not work. Tried it overnight with 3 different base maps and no go

I will drive it to Torrance tomorrow if that's even a possibility. I don't know if you are able to test it. Thank you.

Do not drive to Torrance, as we are not open and we are never open to the public.
Post your calibraiotn as well as a datalog showing what it is doing when trying to start it.

OK I will try to get those uploaded asap. Thanks for your help I appreciate it. I was so excited to have to start and have the end in site but this car likes to make me really work for it.

I've never done this before so let me know if these are even anything. I was looking at the sensors tab while cranking and it looks like I was getting pulse according to kpro? I always swapped map sensors and same issue. I'm trying to rent a noid light.

What MAP sensor are you using?

For those datalogs I put in a brand new sparks racing 4bar and changed the setting in kpro. I can put in the stock one and run new logs If you want.

it is reading 45 psi in the datalogs so I suspect an issue with the calibration of the map sensor.
