P28 s300 issu
P28 s300 issu
I have a 98 Integra with a b20 non Vtec turbo in it. My p28 with the v2 s300 randomly stopped connecting to my laptop and also working in my car. Car was parked In a garage For about 8 months before I tried to take it out again and this is when the issue started. It wouldn’t prime my fuel pump and was lit up red. Took it to tri state Motorsports in Nj where I’m located and they said my hondata board was bad. I got the new s300 v3 from them installed. Got home it connected to my laptop and allowed me to upload my tune. The light is green but you can see a red flash as well. It still won’t prime my fuel pump and when I connect a stock obd2 ls Integra ecu in my pump primes. I can’t turn the car on since my fuel pump isn’t getting turned over with the s300 p28. I have 1000cc injectors and on the tune before the issue started my car made 330hp on the stock b20 on 15lbs of boost. I honestly don’t know what’s going on and I’m getting very frustrated now. What can be the issue I’m having. I’m guessing my other hondata board was good since I’m still having an issue but I’m not sure. Can it be that something with the ecu itself is bad.
Re: P28 s300 issu
Things to consider:
-Have the capacitors been replaced on the ECU? If not, you should have this done. Bad capacitors can have a direct impact on the fuel pump priming.
-Verify that the S300v3 is plugged into the ECU correctly, and not off by one row of pins.
-How does the solder job look on the ECU? Who did the soldering?
-Have you tried swapping your S300v3 into a known good ECU and try it in your car?
-Have you tried putting your ECU with your S300v3 in another car?

Re: P28 s300 issu
No the capacitors have not been changed. I think that might be the issue because when I ground pin a7 for the ecu directly to ground the fuel pump kicks on.
I’ve tried installing it in my brothers car and it does the same thing
