Hello everyone. I’m no expert with Hondata tuning and wondering which is best off the shelf basemap calibration to use with my set up? I have Hondata Flashpro
2018 Honda Civic Type R on 91 octane pump fuel
mods:
PRL FMIC
K&N drop in filter
3” FP
3” Exhaust
Also anyone have experience with the Full race bolt on pre set maps?

Here is my data log running 91 octane Full race bolt ons Basemap
these are checked off
Remove factory boost limits
Disable secondary o2 for dp
Pump gas 0% ethanol (using shell 91 V-power in Canada)
Disable Rev hang
Sensor remove for P0101 & P0103 error (I have gotten a CEL error code P0101 before)
Improved throttle response full power 1st and 2nd gear
Traction control aggressive launch
increase turbocharger boost limit
increase turbocharger pressure ratio
i don't have much of a clue what i'm looking at in the datalog. I know dyno custom tune is the way to go. I haven't found a trusted tuner locally...
Is this preset ok for my set up?

Closed loop and knock look ok. Probably a longer pull in 3rd would be better to look at.

Ok. Near the end of the data log I did do a 3rd gear pull. I’ll try and go out for another rip and post another datalog Thanks

Start at lower rpm (skip the 1st & 2nd power shifting) and go to redline.

Anyways, I have similar setup and just switched to Hondata from Ktuner, should I use 91 Octane, DP, IC map or 91 Octane Fullrace to start with?

Use the 91 octane DP IC map.
If you go flexfuel start with a flexfuel calibration, that way the maximum air charge tables will be set.

I used 91oct DP intercooler improves throttle response as bass map. And enable ethanol content thru ECT2 and enable FlexFuel support. Try other map like E0-E85 map.. still rad fans last on Sunday

You need to increase the fan temperatures if you use ECT rather than ECT2 to control the fans.

Those temp settings are default from the 91oct map, I didn’t change anything and it’s showing weird unit but I think it in F. Problem is the fan starts right the way even the water temp and oil temp is at 20C.
