Good morning guys, I just got my s300 installed and setting up the tables and datalogging. This is a stock hi comp b20vtec with a GSR head. When at 100% full throttle, I’m only getting into vacuum table 7, and not all the way over to 10!!! The sManager shows my tps signal goes from 0-101%. BUT, when the engine is off, and keyed to on, the MAP is reading -3.2. Is this a bad stock MAP Sensor ? I am at 3200 feet of elevation if that makes a difference? Thank you for help!!

Stock MAP sensor calibration?
Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
This is normal at higher altitudes as there is less air pressure.

Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
I thought that might be the case. So my concern is that the ignition tables in cell 7 are much higher then 9 and 10. So at WOT, I’m running more timming then I should be? It’s about 4 degrees more.
Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
But it's not under the same load so it should be safe unless you are getting detonation.

Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
I am seeing some knock retard when under full throttle, and tip in. 1-4 degrees, but not constant. I am using a GSR knock sensor in a b20 block, which the harmonics are different. I am on 91 as well.

What ECU are you using?

Obd1 p72 with an s300 from HAmotorsports
Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
You may need to disable the knock sensor as it will not be tuned for the sized engine you have. If you have forged pistons it may also pick up normal noise as knock.

Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
Okay. Good to know. Once I have the tune finalized, should I then run it in the Closed Loop (lambda Target) setting. I do not have the stock o2 hooked up and solely using the AEM wideband.
Re: Stock MAP sensor calibration?
Yes for best economy and minor corrections running closed loop is a good idea with the wideband.
