tune off when manually uploading

Post by hondaguy123 »

ive had this problem where car would go lean and the entire tune would be off. i started noticing it only does it when i manually upload to ecu. the car will be full lean on wideband but if i add just 1 percent fuel afr will go back to 14.1-14.3. if i dont manually upload and just let the ecu live update everything is fine but as soon as i manually upload to ecu everything goes lean.

How exactly are you uploading?

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

O2 sensor error

Post by hondaguy123 »

So I have kpro v4 and the car will run for a lil bit then it will throw a code for o2 sensor malfunction and the o2 sensor will read full lean and not read anything, when I switch out the kpro for another one of my buddies it’s fine and the o2 sensor works perfectly fine and throws no error codes.

I’m uploading by hitting the upload arrow that is up by the lightening bolt icon
41044 is the serial number
And I’m on version 4.4.3.0

Are you swapping the whole ECU and K-Pro or are you just swapping the K-Pro board?

You need to try swapping the K-Pro boards as that will help you determine if it is the K-Pro or the ECU.
