Question about Warranty Tags

Hi
I have recently bought a KPro ecu from Tegiwa (ECU part number PRA-E12)
one of the reasons that I went with the KPro was the digital inputs to allow me to run a PLX Wideband,
However upon receiving it I see that the case is sealed by warranty tags and as such I will not be able to use the digital or analogue inputs without voiding the warranty.
so I was wondering if this was a Hondata warranty tag or something added by Tegiwa

If this is something done by Hondata is it to prevent the advanced features being used with a valid warranty?
