Jrsc k20a2 (HELP)

Post by dan199008 »

So I've been having an issue with my jrsc k20a2 and I was wondering if anyone could help please,
I notice it more after accelerating and changing gear it sort of hesitates/missfires between 3500rpm and 4500rpm for a few seconds then clears, it happens at the same rpm every time so I'm clueless. changed plugs/coils tps is fine I just don't know where to start, I'll try upload a datalog because I have no idea what I'm looking for to be honest. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

Your o2 sensor is not working, so it is not possible to see what the lambda is.

Is there any particular reason it would have been mapped that way? Thought I would have to run with a primary o2 sensor in working order

Btw I'm in the uk so we are on narrow band I believe not wide band if that's makes a difference

What injectors are you using?

Have you discussed this issue with your tuner?

Ok. Then I'd suggest adding a wideband because they are not expensive and will tell you a lot about what is going on. Given the short term trim is +-15% I think the fuel tuning is off at cruise, and it is unknown under load without the wideband.
