'05 TSX - electronic throttle body

Anyone comment on whether the reflash for the '05 TSX will allow removal of the "throttle by wire" system and replacement with the euro K24 "real" TB (actually connected to the pedal)? I'd love the extra hp/torque of the reflash, esp in the midrange on my TSX but what really pisses me off is the lack of throttle response from the electonic throttle system. Reflash question b/c I'd rather not have to go to a complete system like the K-pro due to complexity and tuning time.

Also, anyone know if any side effects with ABS, VSA etc in changing out the TB??

The throttle body cannot be swapped with the reflash. Ask those with teh reflash what they think about the throttle response.

To be able to swap it, you will have to use a K-Pro, do custom wiring, add a throttle cable and your gauges will not work.

I feared as much, and also that the VSA and ABS might not operate. If the reflash addresses some of the turbo-lag sensation in the throttle pedal, then I'm just waiting on the edge of my seat for it to come out for the '05's....

Maybe Honda's just trying to get us all used to turbo lag before bringing out the new turbo TSX
