Short term trim over correcting and stays at max

Post by rad_k_swap »

Kswap chassis

k20/k24 prb ecu kprov4 board

Currently trying to have the car remotely etuned and running into an issue, At idle after about 10 seconds the short term trim begins to ramp up and hold at max trim and continue to compensate fuel when the afr is now to rich and way below the target.

thanks

The short term trim is changing because according to the readings it is running lean. What do you have connected t AN1, as it is showing voltage readings.

right but once it gets to the target afr it continues to overshoot and stay around 11.5, an1 is a oil pressure sensor I was trying to input the data directly to kpro but I cant seem to get the voltage to pressure conversion right.

Was able to get the idle worked out well enough to have it sit around 14.5-15afr yesterday in open loop. And still after the tune is switched back to closed loop short term trim ramps up and stays at max causing a rich (11afr) condition and holding there. Any thoughts as to what could be causing this? Wideband is a aem 30-4110 ate there still bugs associated with this one?

Your injectors may be leaking or you may have the incorrect dead times set as the injector opening times are hardly changing and there are fairly large changes in the AF.
