SManager vew version not opening

Hello,
So this morning I opened Smanager to look at some things on my car.

The normal ''Smanager need an update'' message apear.
I select the beta update.

Install work as usual.

When I finish install, the program don't open.

I try to open it manually and I got an error message.

So I uninstall Smanager completetly and download the last version from Hondata website, version 2.6.8

I install the new executable as usual.

But I get the same error message ...

I restarted the laptop about 4 times.

I even tried the differents files on the Smanager repertory but not work.

My latop run on Windows 7 and all the updates are done.

Kmanager last version work, Flashpromanager too, only Smanager is problematic.

I got the notification for the new beta update today today. I'm glad I skipped it or I would have been dead in the water stuck out of town.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon

I tryed several things.

- Removing my Avast antivirus completely
- Reinstalling the program
- Installing pilot manually
- Setting Windows Defender to the lowest level possible
- Making change in my UAC settings, tryed every steps

I don't know what I can do at this point, Flashpro and Kpro manager work fine.

Get this error message also my occasion when ttrying to open the program.

Asked my friend to try to install it and it worked on his computer, downloaded from the website.

Look like the beta install did something do my computer ?

No, it's a problem specific to some computers running Windows 7. We're working on it.

It is something to do with windows 7 themes, but I'm not sure if Aero needs to be on, or off, or it is something else like the themes service. But if you're stuck I'd change the settings in the control panel and see if that fixes it.

Ok, i will try tomorrow about theme.
I don’t care much about the theme, I could rock a windows 98 style interface if it work.

So I modified my theme to the classic windows theme.

Restarted the computer and reinstalled the program but it still crash :(

It is 32 or 64 bit windows? Also what version (home etc). Is service pack 1 installed?

You can find most of this by searching for 'System Information'

All update are done so I’am probably SP1, will confirm tomorrow.

I did not have any issues here, running Win7 sp1 64bit

Nice and Glad to see updates on sManager, the Datalog Tab addition to Graphs is a nice and useful one, please keep it up, software is everything and the features to be added are endless!!!

We've found the problem and are going to do a release today to fix it.

The workaround is to set font scaling to 100% on Windows 7. No other windows versions are affected.
