I just converted to obd1 with what was supposed to be a p28 ecu.
Upon starting the car i got a CEL 19, Lock up control soleniod.
I tried a search but, no luck.
I was given a fuel map from a simliar setup (550's) and my idle is irratic, jumping from 1500 to 2000 until warm, then it slowly stalls.
My a/f guage is also not functioning properly since the conversion.
Sorry for the book, just trying to give a good description of the problem.
It seems my new ECU is the culprit, but since the part # has been removed it can't idintify it.
I forgot to post my question. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a lock up conrtol soleniod part of an automatic transaxle? Therefore is this ecu compatible?
