Re: Flashpro to ECU upload not working V 1.1.8.5

just to recap this thread.

Emails from Hondata said that the newest BETA software would solve the problem. It did.

Thank you for the support

Ryan

Re: Flashpro to ECU upload not working V 1.1.8.5

Have you sent the support information that was asked for?

I don't really understand why you guys keep asking for support information if I keep telling you that NO ERROR CODES pop up after a failed upload and hence, no support information was sent.

BTW, sent where?

Maybe I just don't know what ...

Re: Flashpro to ECU upload not working V 1.1.8.5

well, I don't really know what to say. No error report was created. It seems like it thinks it's done uploading but not and freezes up with just a minimal amount of data to transfer.

The flashing red stays on the for the same amount of time as when I use the computer to upload. The solid red just ...

Re: Flashpro to ECU upload not working V 1.1.8.5

To reiterate the lights, solid red for like 10 seconds, flashing red, then solid red for 3 minutes or more untill I shut car off and the lights still stay on until I unplug the FP from the port.

I tried another upload last night and no dice. I let the solid red light stay on for around 2-3 minutes ...

Re: Flashpro to ECU upload not working V 1.1.8.5

I'll lay it out best I can play by play here

1.) Adjust calibration and save to computer.
2.) upload new calibration from computer to Flashpro
3.) take just the flashpro to the car and plug it in the diagnostic port
4.) turn ignition to on
5.) hit program
6.) program light turns red,
6.1) then ...

What if this guy pulls out in front of a car and he blames the wreck on a rev limiter at 3000 rpm? It's uncharacteristic of a car to have that. In court you could get screwed. I'd make sure to tell them first, before you hand over the keys so they don't even try to take it out of the lot.

the 350Z ...

Edit: those are stock Hondata settings.

what you have
1000 1800 3500 4500 6000 7000 8000
0.850 0.850 0.850 0.750 0.750 0.750 0.550

After looking at what the US RRB AFM/mass air flow sensor table looks like, I was thinking that the 0.850 at 1000 might be tricking the ECU at the start of your pull ...

Missing IGN Trims Parameter Adjustments in software

NEVERMIND, have to go to Options, show advanced parameters.

All of a sudden there's no Individual Ignition trim per cylinder on Version 1.1.7.4.

sounds like a bandaid tune. I heard a long time ago that cylinder 3 runs a little hot on the K20A2 motor and that adding 1 to 2% fuel helps keep it cooler.

I've notice my car will knock in Cylinder 2 only basically. out of like 10 long logs I've maybe seen 2 knock counts in cylinder 3.

I think ...
