Kmanager permits you to edit the RPM Index. I see several benefits from this but wonder what the drawbacks are.
To begin with it make no sense to me the default high speed RPM INDEX is:
3000
3500
4000 <<<
<<<< IF this is the area VTEC engages should we already be using the "250" resolution mode ...

vtec point and cam settings
If vtec it set to the typical 4300 rpm and we want the high speed cam to be at 50 in the low rpm range.
many calibrations set the low speed cam to 40 just before vtec so it gets a head start moving towards 50.
But every calibration I see has the low speed cam set to 40 on the 4500 rpm row. Isn't ...

how do you set fuel when the cam is set to 25
when the high speed cam is set to 25 how do you set the fuel. Does it average the 20 and 30 cam setting table values?
I guess I am taking the lazy way out and only tweaking fuel for actual situations that will exist and the calibration I started with has the high speed cam set to 25 above 7400 rpm ...

is there a need to tune for fuel at part throttle
It is my understanding while the ecu is in closed loop it will automatically adjust for fuel except for when you are in a wot mode.
If this is true why should I bother adjusting for fuel if the ecu will effectively do it;s own thing.

where can i find more support for tuning
I have searched but am unable to find much support to help me learn how to tune with k-pro. While there is some information here there are also a few dead links.
Apparently there is a dvd from a seminar presented in 2004 I can buy for $35 but I can find no details on what content is included with ...

Setup / configuration questions
If I am not boosted and do not have ENABLE BOOST CONTROL selected in Parameters why do the table display Col 1-16? I though 11-16 was only for boosted.
Also is it save to assume that many of the rows are redundant? Such as every row below vtec for high speed modes is not necessary to tune as the ...

please help me adjust tps
when I measure voltage at the ecu:
I get .40 - 5.2 vdc. I have tried adjusting the tps sensor as far both directions and on the low side .4 is as high as I can get.
I also question why the range is so great.
Is the range supposed to be .5 - 4.5???

car bogs and a/f maxes out
just installed k-pro on 2002 type-s. rinning 1.4.1 sw and loaded a base map and observed the following.
when i try to accererate the car bogs badly and a/f jumps to 32+. Even when blipping the gas when parked to A/F will jump up (see attached log). Is it normal the a/f to ever go this high???
