ok- so the entire gear is going to have to be removed from the cam- that kinda sucks. i was hoping to avoid messing with the tensioner and all thats involved with getting the gear/ cam out. thanks for the info

im replacing the VTC solenoid as per the manual- hopefully that will be it

i just installed a reflash in my k20a3 and soon after i threw a P0010 CEL code which is a malfunction of the VTC solenoid- i was wondering if it had anything to do with the reflash on the ECU or is it just an electrical bug with the solenoid?
