Re: ECU throws P0134 (O2 sensor response) but everything is

It was a swap so I needed to make a harness to reach the ECU

Re: ECU throws P0134 (O2 sensor response) but everything is

OK I did two 1 hour runs this morning without a problem.

I have made 2 modifications since the problem arose
a) soldered the 4 connections where i spliced the 4 ecu and O2 wideband cables (these were previously crimped)
2) replaced the usb cable as i noticed that when I wriggled the connecter at ...

Re: ECU throws P0134 (O2 sensor response) but everything is

hi coolchip

i have been using a number of "beta" versions of K-PRO and they all seemed OK until i downloaded this last version - so the version prior may of been 4 weeks old. Not too sure of the version number!

but it sounds like we have exactly the same problem and I also have a JDM DC5 PRC ECU ...

Re: ECU throws P0134 (O2 sensor response) but everything is

I have the very same problem now - used the same PRC ecu and o2 sensor for a year without any previous problems at all. This has only started to happen with the latest software rel 1.5.1.0 over the last few weeks.

Once the error occurs - I pull over and turn the engine off and start again - the ...

Thanks Guys

Ian - you make sense - I am just tweaking now - but tuning in closed loop even with part throttle over the widest possible MAP range seems sensible. Then I look at the trimming is occurring and tweak where necessary.

How many hours do you need to run the engine before a "long term ...

Thanks
the part number 36531-PRB-A01 is listed on http://www.hondata.com/techk20-ctr-o2wiring.html - so I thought that was the right one.

Denso claimed Denso 234-9005 was an identical part.
I will have one last look at my options. If it doesn't work then I will need to purchase a 36531-PRB-A01 ...

Question about tuning with Wideband

I have just got my JDM PRC with wideband working 100%.

So its time to tune the fuel using the wideband air/fuel sensor.

So I go for a drive 4th gear pull from 2000rpm until redline. I do this a few times whilst saving the datalogs. I then compare the target lambda with the recorded and view what ...

I used the Hondata Tech Wiring page. It is wired up exactly the same.

Its been fine for 4 months as well and re checked all connections and continunity (Spelling) when the MIL came on.

I wired up one of my narrow band 02 sensors (heater circuit only) and held it in my hand, when engine starts it ...

K20A PRC swap O2 A/F wiring question

Hi
I have a JDM K20A (from a 02-05 integra) with a PRC ECU

I have purchased a O2 (or Air/Fuel sensor) sensor - its a wideband
Honda 36531-PRB-A01 ( I have the equivalent Denso 234-9005) as suggested.

Can anyone please tell me the wiring - it has 2 black wires (I presume heaters) 1 x blue wire and ...

Update

This really troubled me but I can report the following:-
a) the cleaning of the IVAC stopped the hunting
b) the idle speed settled after 7 minutes (yes it took that long and can take longer) - but it all settled down once the "learning process" was complete.

Works perfectly.
This is a JDM ...

You probably need to clean your Idle control valve.
Thanks - done that today
I think that may of fixed the hunting
The engine idles perfectly when cold - then rises slowly - im new to this but the software is great.
I did notice in the KDL that the TPS is reading 1% - that's possibly the answer ...
