Re: s300 Unresponsive

Does the 4 pin header for datalogging need to be connected in order to download or upload to ecu? Reason I ask is, I've got a long case s300 socketed ecu which I could try the s300j in but obviously the 4 pin header is in different position so won't be able to connect that

Re: s300 Unresponsive

I do not know who socketed ecu, it's a couple of years old. It is a s300j installed into JDM P30. We had a look inside Ecu and everything looks ok. Anything in particular I should look for?

s300 Unresponsive

A problem seems to have developed with a s300, basically car was tuned about 6 weeks ago with no issues and upon coming back for a tweak we cannot communicate with ecu at all. It does prompt hit F10 to datalog when ignition is turned on but it shows no values when you do datalog and I cannot ...

Re: Tip in fuel issue

I would recommend taking it back to the tuner to have them help you with this issue. They should be able to get it straightened out.

I'm the tuner! I have mapped a few Honda's with itb's on difference EMS without issues so not sure what I'm missing with the s300. It appears tip in isn't occurring ...

Tip in fuel issue

Just wondering is there a way to speed up when tip in fuel occurs? I'm tuning a honda engine on individual throttle bodies and when going WOT quickly the tip in fuel doesn't occur quick enough so the engine bogs for a second. I can see on the wideband the lean condition occuring and with increasing ...

Map trace problem

Was datalogging a customer's ecu(PRC) and noted while cruising it was hoping back and forth between 20/30 degree fuel map when it should have been staying on the 20 degree map as per VTC map. I applied 20 degree cam angle every where on the VTC map to test and whilst it did show in the datalog ...

Why would you want to do this. It will cause you to wash down the bores with fuel.

Not if you tune out your decel fuel columns it won't. We have a car with solid billet mounts and because of this when fuel cut occurs its quite abrupt especially driving in traffic where your constantly on/off the ...
