I had the same issue; would only read at 12.5ish. Turns out the Voltage range for ELD was set to read at .7-1.4 volts. Changed that and it started reading right.

What is closed loop for? I've tried putting it in closed loop and it runs like crap. So I'm supposed to have it in open loop all the time? That's what I've been doing anyways.

I just worked for 7 hours. On the drive home, it amazed me how much more low load power and throttle response their was. This is rediculous.

For the timing, maybe your cam gears being dialed in different than OEM has something to do with it. I also only have an H22A instead of the H22A7, so IDK.

fat2wired I just used uploaded that map and did some tuning. I removed ALOT of timing(10*), adjusted the fuel alot and tuned the vtec crossover. It's much faster at all engine loads. Compaired to the map I was running their's ALOT more timing than that one lol. At WOT at 8k it says my duty cycle is ...

I had a few days off so I decided to mess with this again.

I was just messing around with Smanager, more specifically the list of sensors. I came to the ELD and I instently noticed the problem. The minimum volts was .7 and the maximum was 1.4. As you know the PLX needs 0-5 volts to read everything ...

you take some wire crimp on the plx connector and pin it into the lower left 4 pin on the smf. you then will solder it into one of their grounds but it worked better for me when i soldered it into the NB wire. just like the few said before.

do like spunk said take a datalog and post it with your ...

lol yes. I can tell that it's making a difference but it reads the same. I just bought the PLX gauge to go with it, so I'll find out if it's reading right.

IT is impossible for the ECU to make adjustments by itself if it is in open loop. Look at your datalogs and look athe long and short term fuel trim.

Just to make sure, to put it in open loop, I just make sure the closed loop tab doesn't have a check in it, right? I've had it in both and at idle ...

another PLX wideband install thread

Alright, I'm using the PLX for both wideband and narrowband. The problem I'm having is that in reads the same in open and closed loop; like it makes adjustments to inself.

Just to double check my wiring. The positive and ground are wired into my cigerette lighter, narrowband is wired into my O2(D14 ...
