Well i think if the injector was malfunctioning you would be throwing some trouble codes. Jumper the ecu diag plug and see if you are getting any trouble codes.

yea it works, little but it does. Removing the main seperating wall that reduces induction noise makes a difference in noise and power. I went ahead and cut the ribs too, doesnt let hot air in....

i would remove the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch and clean them thouroughly. Brake parts cleaner works great and make sure to remove the small screen filter and clean it good. be sure to put a small amount of oil around the o ring to make sure no oil leaks when you remount it to the head. Since you are using the 99-00 Si harness you should just get another ecu and then have hondata mod it.

Just buy the cheap universal bosch o2 sensor from your local autoparts store. Works just as great, about an 8th of the price the dealer wants.

Clogged VTEC Solenoid Filter

I have had to take the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch off the head before and clean it. I used ChemTool(brake cleaner basically), removed the filter screen and soaked it in chemtool. Yes and no...

I have had clogged injectors before but not one stuck... The clogging was due to some idiot that put sugar in the gas tank before i bought the civic.
You could clearly see a caramel like substance on the tip of each injector. The motor would bog so bad from 1 - 4k RPM but from vtec on up (4200 rpm ...

So...here i am thinking about my K20A3 (03 Civic Si Hatch) Motor and how i dont like there only being 2 lobes per inlet on each cam. Thats what i used to love about the B16 is that when VTEC crosses over, you feel it PULL! Now i dont know wtf they are doing with this i-VTEC on the K20A3 but it sucks ...
