i don't see how the ecu has anything to do with it cranking over or not.

but it just seems like too much of a coincidence for the ecu not to be the issue ...

i just bought a 89 civic with a stock k20a2 which was swapped in 2006.
i dont think anybody messed with kpro since then and i do not have the ecu calibration. although the following line kept popping up..

"The calibration in the ECU (1.2.x.x.) is from an older version of K-manager. Please upgrade ...
