Ok cool, as long as it wont be just flat out "No Don't Ever Do That", then I can probably make it work. I've got a boost gauge and wideband already installed and have been tuning it for months, so I can putter around gently and make sure my AFRs arent crazy dangerous.
Thanks much,
J

Changing injectors
I think I know the answer to this but want to make sure.
Suppose I have a good KAL tuned for my existing setup. Then I change my injectors to something larger. If I update my KAL and specify the new larger injector size, will the car still run ok? I'm pretty sure that even in the ideal case, it ...

I beleive the lambda overlay feature you are looking at is for the values displayed on the table showing what fuel corrections you would need to make in order to achieve the target lambda value. I don't think it affects when short term corrections are actually made.
For example, if you switch the ...

Ya, I never did anything with the secondary sensor, havent touched it at all. I posted a calibration and datalog of it up above, but it didnt really show anything useful, just that the O2 sensor was reading lean and the ECU compensating until the car wouldnt run. If I hadn't had my wideband, I'd ...

Cool, I'll test it on the way home today.
On the way in to work this morning I set the TPS calibration back to 0% and was going to try to datalog the issue again. It didn't bounce like it did before, instead it just jerked hard once. Wasn't able to get a good capture of it so I'll try it again as ...

I've never physically changed the TPS sensor at all. I have done the TPS calibration under the parameters section, which is where the -3.9% came from. You may recall another post I made where the negative adjustments would gradually fade out every time I made a save to the file.
The -3.9% seemed ...

Is this overrun cutoff?
Hi,
So I've got some jerkiness at low throttle deceleration. I read as much as I could find on the subject and it seems like a pretty common occurrence. I've calibrated the TPS and it seems good to me.
Datalog will show it sitting very steady at 4% while the injectors bounce on-off-on-off for as ...

Thats 3 S2000s with funky O2 sensor readings causing weird fuel trims. I wonder if we don't have something in common happening.
I just took a datalog of another weird issue mine is having and am about to post that in a new thread. I think it might show the weird O2 goofiness too. I wont load mine ...

I only had the kpro in for 1 day before this issue occurred. It was fine for that one day, then all of a sudden the primary sensor starting reading wrong and closed loop started pulling fuel to "fix" it. It literally was running perfectly one minute, stopped the car for 5 minutes, started it again ...

I'm also trying to wire up my wideband to my ELD pin so I'm just going to latch on to your thread, hope you don't mind.
So, I have it connected and I verified I'm getting a good voltage reading out of the wideband module, however the ECU doesn't seem to see anything. With the car turned on and data ...

Possible bug found with this
Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread on this or just use this one, but I think i've found a bug with these TPS settings.
Like the OP, when I do a "read" I get -4% for the minimum setting. This is fine and definitely seems to help with low throttle issues, particularly with fuel over run ...
