Re: Another "help me wire Innovate LC2 wideband"

I can share how i wired up the older Innovate LC-1 to a S300V3 with a JDM P30 ECU.
- Stock O2 (narrowband) signal from the stock sensor to the ECU was left untouched.
- Innovate LC-1's analog 1 was programmed for 0 to 5 volts, linear to go into the ECU's ELD input.

The car ran amazingly well in ...

Re: S300 V3 Digital Input and Innovate LC-1 serial link

OK folks, looks like i found a workaround to this particular problem.

Finally managed to set DI0 to be config'd as a Wideband input.
First, i exported the sensor INI settings via the Sensor Setup table into a somesensor.ini file,
then manually edit the somesensor.ini with a text editor as follows ...

Re: S300 V3 Digital Input and Innovate LC-1 serial link

Seem to have hit a snag here, i can't seem to change the units from "Volts" to "Lambda"......
The "Type" is also stuck on "Voltage". Did i miss out someplace to configure the DI0 to be a wideband A/F input ?

Also, your sensor list has groups (Input, Outputs, Nitrous , whereas mine just list all the ...

Calibration and datalog file as attached.

Have also tried to change the units from A/F to Lambda, but doesn't seem to help in my case here.

S300 V3 Digital Input and Innovate LC-1 serial link

Has anyone managed to successfully link up between an Innovate LC-1 wideband's digital (serial) output with a S300 V3's digital input ?

When i had the S300 V3 with SManager 2.3.7, it was working well (so i know the pin connections are good, using the I- and digital ground pins), but since SManager ...

I am having problems too getting the LC-1 to work with the the S300 just when i think it's close it will start reading goofy numbers.

Yes we all know HONDATA reccomends the PLX.

But not all of us want to run the same stuff and there are such a variety of widebands out there all we want to do is ...

this is what i did in Smanager v1.3.8 :
In the parameters -> Closed loop:
<table of 3 columns , 3 rows>
Voltage: 0, 5 ,5
A/F: 10, 18, 18

In LMProgrammer v3.22 :
I used also used the same for analog 1:
0 volts to 10 A/F,
5 volts to 18 A/F

I chose "18" so that i could have a higher resolution than ...

just to add on,
it seems that the Dynojet Wideband Commander has trouble feeding to the a JDM P30/300J's D10 ELD but has no trouble feeding into the stock O2 D14 input instead.

But then this arises another problem if you wanna run closed loop, coz the Dynojet WbC's output is fixed and non ...

May i ask :

What is the consequence of disabling the ELD in Smanager?

I noticed at idle, ELD reads about 2.4V ,
with headlights , it drops to 1.5V.
with A/C , it drops to 0.4V

But output from the ALTC pin just reads about 8.5V (maybe a duty cycled signal?, I don't have a scope ) , and overall ...

successfully using an Innovate LC-1 with S300J here.

I used D10-ELD. Readout is stable and the voltage offset i needed was "-0.1V" specific to my setup.

One funny observation though, if i used the stock O2 (D14 on the OBD-1 connector), the LC-1 goes haywire.

Somehow, with the LC-1 connected to ...
