I have not tried the ecu in another vehicle.

I have a 94 del sol si, with a b16b swap, jackson racing supercharger, rc 550cc injectors, msd digital 6 ignition, blaster ss coil, hondata s300 in a p28 ecu.

it's a b16b. and the s300 has a setting to turn off the pressure switch. The pressure switch is there and works. And no wiring was changed. it's all stock wiring.

The problem appears to be no signal from the ecu to the solenoid.

vtec does not work

I have tried everything I can think of to figure out why it's not working.

set it up to not look for the pressure switch, didn't work.

Checked to make sure the solenoid works.
Checked resistance for the wire coming from the ecu to the soleniod.

Both checked good.

Installed a light on the vtec ...

It's not tuned above 12 psi. I figured out the problem with the motor going flat was the boost cut was set for 13 psi, and it's somehow boosting over that. Now I can get the car tuned.

I hooked up the laptop to the ecu and monitored what the ecu was reading when the motor went flat. Vtec works, here's what I think the problem actually is:

The tables in the tune go to 12psi and 8k rpm. When the problem occured the map sensor was reading 12.9 psi. So there was no fuel map for the ...

Turns out it was the FITV. Now I have no vtec. Would the vtec settings for a b16a be different for a b16b?

I will have to check that out. But would a vacuum leak cause it to bounce up and down like that? Every time I have seen a vacuum leak it's been steady but higher than normal.

+2 to spunkster, use the cruise control switch. When you look under the dash, theres a button that the clutch pedal is already pushing onto. Thats the switch you want to wire off of.

Thanks, so it's the upper one. Do I cut it completely from where it's wired into now or add the ecu wire to the ...

erratic idle

I have a 94 del sol si, with a b16b swap, jackson racing supercharger, rc 550cc injectors, msd digital 6 ignition, blaster ss coil, hondata s300 in a p28 ecu.

The problem is that when I start the car cold, the idle goes to 3k for about 2 minutes, then bounced back and forth from 1200 to 2600.

When ...

You just cut the wire coming from the psp switch and wire that into your switch. All the psp input does is slightly elevate the idle when you turn the wheel and there is load on the pump.

So the psp wire isn't really needed? Will disconnecting it cause any issues when turning the wheel? Also, do ...
