Re: Nitrous/water methanol workaround

Thanks, I figure this would be the answer but I had to ask.
Could you do something similar to the boost control on ECU/flashpro and provide an internal ECU VTS crosstalk to a unused 12V driver and give us nitrous/water methanol control?...
Cheers

Nitrous/water methanol workaround

Hi,
Could really use some help, since flashpro does not have nitrous control, I was thinking of using the VTEC solenoid or the VTEC oil pressure switch 12V to trigger a relay to activate the water methanol pump (or a nitrous solenoid).
Typical relays have around 135-160 mA current draw, do you ...

S2000 '06 VTEC triggered 12V source

Hi guys,
Looking for a 12v VTEC triggered source to activate a 12V 30/40A relay, the VTEC solenoid & the VTEC oil pressure switch do, would it create a load issue on the ECU? Any other suggestion?
Car is S2000 '06 using Flashpro
Thanks

Re: VTEC ignition advance

Thanks for pushing me, I opened my last calibration file + a 3rd gear pull datalog. Graphed it sure enough I can see what cells are highlighted by moving the cursor, funny how the low ignition table changes to the high one at the VST activation, select cells in columns 9&10 and rows from VST ...

Re: VTEC ignition advance

Hi, sorry I'm a newb & I should have title it ignition advance only...
I'm under the assumption that the max timing advance is valid troughout the rpm range
Can you advance the ignition in specific area of a tune? or max timing is the baseline troughout the rpm & load range?
Example, Water/Meth ...

VTEC ignition advance

Hi,
I intend to install water meth injection, would like to inject under VTEC activation using the VTEC solenoid signal, is it possible to map the ignition (advance) under VTEC activation area only.
Thanks.

Re: 06+ S2000 Deatschwerks Injectors?

I ordered a set, it is advertised as plug & play (direct fit) , beware, the adapter clip is incomplete (pigtail), if anybody knows where to get a complete adapter clip for AP2 let me know...

06+ S2000 Deatschwerks Injectors?

Hi, does the 06+ S2000 Deatschwerks p/n 21U-01-0450-4 requires adapter clips for plug & play?

Thanks for the thorough explanation, looks like I'll have to intercept the VSS signal with a Speedohealer.

I just click on the select button in calibration and realized that the S2000 gear ratios are not there...
Would inputing +11.3% in the sensor speed adjustment ECU & dash give me the same results?

I don't have access to my flashpro so I'm looking at the software demo calibration.
I saw the ignition compensation by gear and from what you're telling me it does work.
When I select calibration it shows a table with the gear ratio:
Gear Ratios
The transmission gear ratios can be set here. This is ...

Flashpro gear compensation

Can you please confirm that Flashpro has gear compensation, I was pretty sure about this until I read something on S2ki in the engine management section.
I'm about to order rear diff gears with a lower numerical ratio (3.636), thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply, found that here http://www.hondata.com/techclosed.html under tuning implication.
Are you aware of any Honda ECU that would use the LTFT values in open loop?
Been searching a lot and apparently LTFT correction can be used in open loop on certain OEM ECU's...
I really want ...

S2000 LTFT & PE map

Hi, while going trough your tuning tutorial I picked up on the following quote “Under high load when the ECU stops running in closed loop the long term adjustment is still used so increasing fuel delivery via these means in not recommended unless the ECU is recalibrated or closed loop disabled.”
So ...
