Re: S300 +TDC

I have ferrea intake cam and was told that it has 5 deg btdc off

I checked all timing marks, cam gears and everything.

Is there something to do to compensate that 5 deg off the cam,?

Thanks

Re: S300 +TDC

The distributor is all advanced already

Can it be that the cam has the distributor slot different from stock?

Spunkster wrote:Step by step, how are you setting the timing?
I go online and click on set timing
Then I put the timing light on the crank pulley and check

S300 +TDC

Hi,

I have a problem on my S300
I am checking the crank pulley with the timing light and I m finding 2deg btdc

I checked all timing marks and cam degree

When I add timing from the tables ,I can see the 16 deg on the pulley marks

Is there something I have to do in the calibration please?

Thanks

I checked on the Hondata website and checked which pinout to use.
I found on site the pinouts that are for obd2 cause mine is obd2

Spunkster wrote:You need to be much more specific.
I ran 1 wire from the ecu brake switch pinout to a toggle switch and 1 wire from the toggle switch to ground

I have just 1 toggle switch

Spunkster wrote:Please describe exactly how you wired this, as I don not understand what you have done.
I ran a wire from brake switch pinout from the ecu to a switch and then another wire and earthed the switch. So I have a 2 wire switch, 1 from ecu and the other to ground

Thanks
