I had a question to the flipside of this question since I recently picked up the same setup. What about sending in a separate PRB ECU along with the dual-adapter setup. Or is the Hondata chip modified in a way as well to make that impossible?

Are the 00-05 S2000 Kpro's the same as the Kpro's for 06-09 in terms of the actual Kpro ECU itself. In otherwords, if an 06-09 Kpro setup were stripped of its dual adapter harness, would it be the same as the Kpro for 00-05?

Would love to be able to use Hondata over AEM. Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to check if the PWM function is present or not? I looked on the circuitboard and it did appear that there are some solders that don't look like the OEM solders. Perhaps a serial number check?

I looked into it some more, the foreign looking solders were on the empty circuits I believe ...

sorry I'm a noob as far as tuning :oops: but does the boost-cut function cause the knock CEL if I hit boost-cut? I found out the MBC I had wasn't working (or never worked) and additionally there was an oil leak for the turbo feed so boost cut was set to 12PSI. On the drive home I was on an on-ramp ...

i decided to outright buy it, the shop informed me that they sent the defective harness to InlinePRO which will be sending it to hondata. I want to know when it arrives, if it never arrives I will also want to know.

do you keep records of the ECU's serial#'s along with each individual Kpro serial number? I mean only under very rare circumstances can I see this situation happening. (a kpro exactly like the one stolen being sold with a different serial#)
