P74 to use with VTEC

Hi gentlemen,

I have a P74 which I want to run with s300 on a gsr engine. The guy who sockets my ecu's got a how to for the vtec conversion. However, I still got dtc 21. Can one of you maybe confirm which parts are needed for the vtec conversion? Or a how-to available?

Thanks,

Andreas.

Hi,

The VTEC issue has been fixed. Do not dare to say what it was.
I could also not think of if somebody asked me, it was more or less a desperate last idea. But I got it.
The used ECU is a P75, and the guy who socketed it, "forgot" to put in the VTEC conversion. No comment please.

s300 datalogging probs and fuel cut and no vtec

Today I was datalogging when suddenly it froze. Rebooted the laptop but whenever I click F10, all sensor displays show 0 values, nothing more.
however, I think that that's USB drivers which need to be reinstalled. The reason is that in the help file it says that I need to have S300 Manager in the ...

Thanks very much.
So capacitors ist the correct wording. Cool, learnt again sth. :D

I do not want to bother you but I need to place another question. I have discussed this with my "soldering guy" yesterday. He did also say that those capacitors may be optional. But I wanted to know if optional is ...

S300 socketing question

Hi,

I would like to know if the "condensators" on C51 and C52 should not be used with the s300. Are they just neccessary with the s200?

Thanks very much,

Andreas

PRC (JDM DC5) stock calibration

Hi,

Does anybody have a map for the JDM Integra Type R (DC5)?
Preferrable for stock setup, but even with mods still very required.
Many thanks in advance,

Andreas

Hi Kender,

Actually, all you need to do is to read the Tuning Guide in the Tech Section.
From part throttle tuning to WOT tuning, there you can find everything.
I am really so thankful to the Hondata guys. They put all information you need in very easy understandable docs and even videos.
Read that ...

Guys,

Am a very happy man again. :) Thanks a lot.
It was the adapter wiring harness. The o2 sensor wire was not even connected to the ecu. Now I got rid of that harness and everything runs perfect. Many thanks again.

Kindest regards from Germany,

Andreas

Thank you very much.
So a connection/wiring issue. Can you please confirm the pin where to connect the wideband linear output? (I have a Hondata made P28)
BTW, I spoke to Matt yesterday and he told me that I have to connect that white wire instead of the grey narrowband output into the ECU. Hoped ...

Hi,

Can poor connection be the reason that the air fuel ratio is not working in RomEditor while datalogging? And that the O2V shows always 3.7-3.8?
All other sensors work perfectly.
Thanks,

Andreas

According to Jim Helbing, my tuner in who I have 100% confidence, it is enabled. I think the last option will be to datalog and to see if all parameters to get into closed loop are being fulfilled.

Civic VTI, nice to hear from you again.
Yes, Jim sent me a new chip with the new emulator, but still ...

My problem is different. The car does never go into closed loop. Even at idle. And I have not found the problem yet :(

Indeed, the gain compared to the mods is respectable.
Which CTR cams do you have? I suppose the ones from the JDM B series engine. How did you rise your compression? Another head gasket or did you take 5/10 mm of the head?
Also, with that compression which fuel do you have to use? 95 or 98 octane?

Geia sou,

(He he, I learnt sth)
Yeah, you are right, it's too damned hot in Greece. Actually I am from Romania and know what you mean.
162 whp is good on a n/a B16A2. Can you tell me about your exact setup? Per mail if you want. I have two friends here, on with a EG6 and another with a EG9, both ...
