Ok. still feel a bit hard done to when I believe whatever the issue was down to the installer not testing it before shipping however it is cheaper than other options I have.

Do I have to send you the ecu or will you just ship me another piggyback board?

Yes tried my kpro board in a friends and his kpro board in mine.

My kpro board in his ecu exhibits exactly the same errors.

I took a gamble added the jumper and now the ecu works with the wiring as described on this site. It might be worth a mention on the wiring instruction page that this could be a problem as I found nothing about it anywhere.

I bought the ECU already done so I have no idea who did it, although I could find out if I contacted the seller.

I have a UK engine / harness and a PRC Jap K-Pro ECU, the harness is modified for the Wideband sensor as shown on this site.

The problem I have is with a UK ECU the car starts and runs perfectly but with the Jap ECU the fuel pump does not spin and hence wont start.
