If you use a plx wide band setup you can use 1 o2 sensor that sends the ecu both NB and WB signal. The aem would only allow for WB open loop operation. The ecu would not use the o2 sensor for af calculations in open loop.

Let me know if this is how open/closed loop works. From what I understand, the ecu is in open loop when the car first started. It adjusts the a/f mixture based on sensor inputs. closed loop is when the car is warmed up and begins to use the o2 for the a/f mixture. This is what I need explained- If I ...

vx wideband

I have a vx hatch with a 5 wire o2. can I use this to tune. if so what voltage adjustment/setup selection will I need. (ordered wideband for other car, wanted some practice so I dont blow up built engine)
