Why does Hondata have the reflash? If it is such a little thing as a program change for better performance, why wouldn't Honda have done it in the first place?

Is there a loss or hesitation without headers. I was going to wait until next year to put headers and an exhaust on. I wanted go ahead with the Reflash soon. Will this not work? Your suggestions? Thx

Ok, I already have a AEM short ram intake. Are both the intake and headers necessary for the reflash? Or will my intake be enough to prevent that loss of power?

I'm somewhat of a newbie to working on Hondas. I was wondering what will this reflash do for my Si? I have heard a lot of people talking about them and am curious. Is this something that I can just add to a stock engine to help produce hp and torque. Please help.
