I have a buddy with a '02 Civic SIR and K-Pro. Recently his car has been throwing P1259. He topped up the oil, cleared the code, and it comes back.

We started tracing the wiring to the VTEC switch and found the ECU is not raising the pin (B1) to 12V. In the ON - II position, the pin read 0.02V ...

Okay .. I'm a yutz.. I have my lean/rich values inversed in my brain. :roll:

Still curious about the closed loop/open loop though.

I seem to be leaning out a fair bit, and the logs are showing I'm in closed loop at full throttle/full MAP. (about 1:38)

It seems these last two updates are for preventing reverse engineering of your product, at the sacrifice of wider platform compatibility.

The new releases don't take too kindly to attaching with a debugger or memory searching tools. I guess I'll be sticking with KManager 1.2.3.1 until such a time ...

I do have internet connection when I launch. I backed down to 1.2.3.1 and it works again. Then I upgraded to the latest and no dice.

Has the target platform/architecture been changed in recent version? I'm able to do a dumpbin on the version that works and it shows all the symbols and imports. On ...

I back down to version 1.3.2.2 and I'm seeing the same crash. It may be related to my laptop being put into standby. Will try a fresh reboot when I'm home.

Hi Hondata smarties,

I'm running an ELM327 CanBus OBD-2 reader with my K-Pro for the purposes of doing some digital gauges on the in-car computer. ( in Linux )

I was just wondering if plugging the OBD-2 reader in causes the ECU to go into open loop mode or not. There seems to be a distinct change ...

I noticed in the manual, and the sticker on the ECU that it says not to allow USB ground to come in contact with chassis ground.

What is the reason for this? I have a in car PC, and touch screen LCD in the dash that I would like to run KManager on, but I don't want to be shorting out the daughter ...
