I have a buddy with a '02 Civic SIR and K-Pro. Recently his car has been throwing P1259. He topped up the oil, cleared the code, and it comes back.

It seems these last two updates are for preventing reverse engineering of your product, at the sacrifice of wider platform compatibility.
The new releases don't take too kindly to attaching with a debugger or memory searching tools. I guess I'll be sticking with KManager 1.2.3.1 until such a time ...

I do have internet connection when I launch. I backed down to 1.2.3.1 and it works again. Then I upgraded to the latest and no dice.

I noticed in the manual, and the sticker on the ECU that it says not to allow USB ground to come in contact with chassis ground.
What is the reason for this? I have a in car PC, and touch screen LCD in the dash that I would like to run KManager on, but I don't want to be shorting out the daughter ...
