Double the fuel required is a folk myth. 2.3 times the amount of gas will get you in the ball park. Believe me that the .3 is very significant at boost or even normally aspirated. Expect about 12% power gain at best with the engine optimized for alk. Run it the least bit lean and it will detonate ...

more questions?

Did you tune it on a dyno with a wide band O2? If so, how much power did it make? How much base fuel pressure? What kind of fuel pump? Sorry for all the questions but this stuff is needed to have a clue to figuring out what happened. Do you know how much timing was dialed into it?

Cam timing, lobe center line angles?

If you are getting a lot of fuel out the exhaust, I would wonder if the lobe center are too close or if it is just too rich. What size injectors and how hard were you planning on stepping on it. What kind of fuel and how much timing. Also what type of intake manifold and intercooler?

 Running that much compression with boost on 93 octane pump gas is detonation city.
You probably need at least 100 and maybe 108 octane to be really sure you aren't going to detonate when you boost it up.
Winter time pump gas is made to flash off really easily at low temperture
which is ...
