I'm getting the "daughterboard error battery low when cranking" on occasions when it's a hot day. It is fine for most of the time but when we do have a hot day here in England the above error appears. I have to unplug the ECU for a few seconds to clear it and then all is fine.

Does anybody have a map suitable for these mod's:-

Spoon B-pipe + Magnex BB.
AEM Long arm cold air intake.

Nothing special I know and I have used the civictypertuned map and also modded the rsxcoldair to PRA and that was great midrange but no power at the top end.

Still not got round to having it ...

I've had the same problem on my UK CTR with PRA kpro. No matter what calibration I use other than stock the car blips itself on the overrun. I took apart the idle valve and it all looked fine so put it back together and still the same.

Replaced the ECU with factory unit and it's fine so I concluded ...

In a word no. I have left the default idle speed at 750rpm which is exactly as it was with the factory ECU.

I don't understand what the "Idle Valve Duty Cycle Adjustment" does hence I've not altered it on the basis that if I'm not sure don't mess.

It's strange that this surging only occurs when ...

I've just uploaded the "civictyperfactory" map to run the car on the default settings and the idle speed problem is still there when on choke.

There is no problem at all when I swap back to the factory fit standard ECU - other than the car is a lot slower!!

I haven't cleaned out the idle ...

Does anybody out there have a Kpro calibration they would share for a UK Civic Type R EP3 with a PRA ECU to suit AEM CAI + catback exhaust?

I've just installed a PRA kpro into my 2004 UK EP3 which is modified with just an AEM CAI and Mangex back box and am having the following problems both of which I've seen mentioned on here:-
